Wheel Retreat – Wheel & Brake Dust Cleaner

Tough on grime. Easy on you.
Brake dust is metal. It bakes onto a hot wheel and bonds there, and no amount of car soap is going to talk it off. Wheel Retreat is built for that specific problem — spray it, let it work, rinse it away.

Plenty of wheel cleaners get your wheels to “kind of clean.” This one goes after what's actually stuck, while staying safe on every wheel finish you're likely to own.

💪 Melts brake dust✅ Safe on all finishes⚡ Fast acting🔧 Works on suspension too

Wheels are the dirtiest thing on your car

Every stop grinds pad material into iron dust and throws it at a surface that's already 300 degrees. It embeds. Left long enough it pits the finish permanently, which is why a neglected set of wheels never quite comes back no matter how hard you scrub. Cleaning them regularly isn't vanity — it's the difference between wheels that last and wheels you replace.

What it does

  • Melts away brake dust — powerful cleaning action where ordinary wheel cleaners stall out.
  • Safe on all wheels — clear-coated, painted, chrome, polished, powder-coated and ceramic-coated.
  • Fast acting — spray on, let it dwell, wipe or rinse clean.
  • Versatile — works on wheels, tires, wheel wells and suspension components.

How to use it

  1. Work on cool wheels only — never straight after a drive.
  2. Rinse loose dirt off first.
  3. Spray generously and let it dwell 1–2 minutes.
  4. Agitate with a wheel brush where the dust is heaviest, especially around the lug seats and barrel.
  5. Rinse thoroughly. Dry, or follow with Sidewall Shine on the tires.

Straight talk

  • Cool wheels, always. Hot metal flashes the product dry and can stain the finish. Let them sit.
  • Don't let it dry on the wheel. If it's a hot day, do one wheel at a time.
  • It won't fix pitting or curb rash. Corrosion that's already in the finish is permanent — no cleaner reverses that.
  • Rinse the brake components. Keep it off hot rotors and flush everything well when you're done.

Before you buy

Is it safe on my finish?
Yes — painted, polished, chrome, powder-coated and ceramic-coated wheels are all fine. As with any wheel cleaner, test an inconspicuous spot on bare polished aluminum or an aftermarket finish you're unsure about.

Do I still need a brush?
For light dust, no. For a wheel that hasn't been touched in months, yes — chemistry loosens it, agitation removes it.

Can I use it on the tires?
Yes. It strips old dressing and browning, which is exactly what you want before applying fresh.

How often should I use it?
Every wash if you drive hard. European cars with soft pads need it far more often than most.

Spray. Wait. Rinse.
