4-Bar Digital SENT Map sensor pair for Audi 2.5Tfsi DAZA engines TTRS 8S / RS3 8V.2
- Read boost levels accurately above 2bar.
- Correct vacuum readings.
- Recommended for all vehicles especially those powered with hybrid turbos.
One sensor is mounted before the throttle body (charge pipe) — measures boost pressure from the turbo/intercooler.
The other is mounted in the intake manifold — measures manifold absolute pressure (MAP) and helps the ECU calculate load, airflow, and fueling.
Both need to read the same scaling range (4 bar in this case) for the ECU to interpret data correctly once you run higher boost.
We recommend getting them for any DAZA vehicle, even with stock turbos and no plans of going higher than 2bar. In case of a boost control malfunction you want the ECU to see how much boost you are running, this will allow the ECU to adjust fuel and other parameters (tune dependent) to activate certain failsafes.
These are SENT digital map sensors with the Tmap for DAZA engines, they will not work for DNWA engines that use analog Map sensors.
Due to the different aftermarket discharge pipes, our sensors come with both flaps for bolt provision, you may or may not have to cut the opposite side you wish to use.
