ServiceLog Pro Privacy Policy

Hampton Tuning provides ServiceLog Pro, a free-to-download app with optional Pro features. This policy explains how the app handles information. It applies to ServiceLog Pro, not shopping or browsing on the Hampton Tuning website.

Your records and private iCloud storage

Information you enter can include vehicle and equipment details, VINs and registration numbers, mileage or hours, maintenance and modification records, fuel purchases, costs, shop names, notes, reminders, photos and receipts. The app also stores settings and sync metadata, such as record identifiers, modification dates and a device name.

Records are stored on your device. When iCloud is available, supported records and attached images may sync through your private iCloud database to devices using the same Apple Account. If iCloud is unavailable, the app can operate with local storage. Apple operates iCloud under its own privacy policy. Hampton Tuning does not receive your private database contents through the app and does not operate a server that stores your service records.

Photos, camera and receipt recognition

You choose the images to attach or scan. The app uses Apple's photo picker and camera/document-scanning tools and requests relevant permissions when needed. Receipt text recognition and field extraction run on your device using Apple Vision. Receipts and photos are not sent to a remote AI provider. Images you save may sync through your private iCloud database as described above.

Free access, Annual Pro and existing lifetime purchases

ServiceLog Pro includes free features and an optional auto-renewing Annual Pro subscription. Existing valid lifetime Pro purchases remain lifetime; an annual subscription is not required to keep that entitlement. Apple processes purchases, renewals, cancellations and restores. Hampton Tuning does not receive your payment-card details. The app uses verified StoreKit purchase information, including subscription status and expiry, and stores entitlement information locally to determine access. Manage subscriptions through your Apple Account. Expiration of Annual Pro does not delete your records or remove free data export.

Sharing and support

You can choose to export records, save reports or share files using Apple's share sheet. Files may contain the information and images you included. Their handling after sharing depends on the recipient or service you choose. The app does not automatically send these exports to Hampton Tuning. If you contact support, we receive the message and attachments you choose to send and use them to respond to your request.

Analytics, cookies and external services

The app contains no third-party advertising, tracking or analytics SDKs and does not use cookies. It uses Apple services, including iCloud and StoreKit. Apple may process service or diagnostic information under its own policies and your device settings. The app also provides links to external websites. Browsing the Hampton Tuning website or another linked website is subject to that website's privacy and cookie policies; the app's no-cookies statement does not apply to those websites.

Retention and deletion

You control the records stored in the app and can delete individual records. When sync is operating, supported deletions propagate through iCloud; limited sync metadata may remain to prevent deleted items from reappearing. Deleting the app removes its local app container, but does not itself delete private iCloud data, device backups, original images in Photos, or files you previously exported or shared. Manage iCloud storage and backups through Apple settings, and remove exported or shared copies separately where you control them. We cannot directly erase data in your private iCloud account. Contact us about information you voluntarily sent to support.

Children

ServiceLog Pro is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has sent personal information to Hampton Tuning.
